About us
Strength is already in you.
Expectant Strength Collective was built on a simple but powerful belief — that every person, no matter where they are in life, carries within them the capacity to heal, grow, and thrive. We exist to walk alongside them.
Our story
Born from community, built for community
Expectant Strength Collective was founded by clinicians and advocates who saw a gap in the mental health landscape — too many people falling through the cracks between crisis care and everyday wellness. Too many youth aging out of systems without the skills to stand on their own. Too many families without a trusted place to turn.
We set out to build something different: a collective of care that meets people exactly where they are — whether that's in the middle of a mental health crisis, navigating a major life transition, or simply trying to build a more stable, fulfilling life.
Today, we serve adults and youth across our community through six specialized programs, each designed to address the whole person — not just a diagnosis.
Mission & vision
Our mission
To provide compassionate, evidence-informed mental health and behavioral support that empowers individuals and families to discover their own strength and build lives of meaning and stability.
Our vision
A community where every person — regardless of background, age, or circumstance — has access to the care, skills, and support they need to thrive.
What we stand for
Our core values
Dignity
Every person who walks through our doors deserves to be seen, heard, and treated with unconditional respect — regardless of their history or circumstances.
Strength-Based Care
We don't focus on what's broken. We build on what's already there — the resilience, capacity, and potential that exists in every individual.
Cultural Responsiveness
Effective care is culturally grounded. We honor the diverse backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences of the people we serve.
Whole-Person Approach
Mental health doesn't exist in isolation. We address the emotional, social, behavioral, and practical dimensions of each person's life.
Community
We believe healing happens in relationship. Our work is rooted in connection — between clients and clinicians, families and systems, individuals and their communities.
Accountability
We hold ourselves to the highest standards of ethical, evidence-informed practice — and we continuously learn, grow, and improve.
Our people
